ATLANTA, Feb. 24, 2015 – CetoLogic, a leading provider of software and analytics for financial institutions and retailers, announced that the company partnered with the Sharon Springs Falcons youth football team to raise funds for the Atlanta-based philanthropy, CURE Childhood Cancer. CURE’s mission is to conquer childhood cancer through funding targeted research and through support of patients and their families.
“Our donation to CURE is in honor of my niece, Haley Locklier, who is a three-year survivor of Hodgkin’s lymphoma,” said Douglas Ceto, president and CEO of CetoLogic. “CURE has always been near and dear to our hearts here at CetoLogic, and we are honored to give back to such an incredible organization that helps patients and their families through this life-changing journey.”
CURE was established in 1975 as a grassroots organization with one crystal-clear mission: to save lives. Since then, CURE has helped increase the childhood cancer survival rate to 80 percent. CURE is passionately focused on supporting research to reach its 100 percent survival rate goal. In addition to funding research, CURE offers counseling, meals and emergency financial assistance.
Ceto’s son, Nicholas, is a member of the Sharon Springs Falcons football team, which raised hundreds of dollars for CURE. CetoLogic then matched the funds the team raised, dollar for dollar.
Ceto continued, “Giving back is an important part of our organization and something that our employees take pride in and support wholeheartedly. We encourage others to do the same so we can collectively make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.”
